OEM Wheels

I have an '05 SCAB XLT, 4X2, with the OEM chrome-clad steel wheels. Does anyone know what size these wheels are? I think they are 17x7.5. The reason I ask is that the 265/70/17's I have looked at all say they need an 8-inch wheel...

I tried searching for this...but am stupid so I asked...

The rim width range is 7.5-9.5in. The undustry standard rim width is 8in, in other words, the tire meets its specified dimensions with an 8in rim. A wider rim will widen the tire slightly and a narrower rim will narrow the tire slightly. That is all that means. Actually, some OEM tires on production vehicles vary from the industry standard measure rim width of the OEM tire.

It's Hankook.

Han-gook is Korean for "Korean person".

Looks good, BTW.

I know its hankook.

I was naming them after the term for an asian, gook, which seems fitting in this case because they are made by asians.

Is there something wrong with that? Why the need for the epithet? Are you just ignorant, or truly a racist?
