Question rim tire questions

I have been doing alot of searching and i am still going to ask.. I am looking for new rim's and tires for my 05 4x4 150. I know nothing about rims, but i would like to go with a 16" rim and wide enough for a 33 or 35 12.50 tire(16x8 or 16x10) but i dont want any rubbing. I dont what backspacing? or any of that stuff... Rite now the truck is stock but am willing to add what will be needed to make it work. So any info would be really helpful..

Also has anyone insatlled the 3" lift with the add a leaf from skyjacker?? How are they any good??

The smallest rim you can fit is a factory '17. On the 05+ trucks the brake calipers are bigger and you cant fit most aftermarket 17's but all of the 18's will fit.

Not with a 16 inch wheel and their 17 may or may not fit. I'd suggest installing a 2.5 inch Autospring leveling kit with a set of 18x9 inch wheels (with 5 or 5 1/2 inches of backspacing) and a set of 325/60-18 (33x13.00-18) tires. Backspacing is simply the measurement from the rear edge of the rim to it's mounting surface. The OEM wheels are 7.5 inches wide and have 5 1/2 inches of backspacing.

Welcome to the club of having to buy high priced tires. I dont see why tires cost so much more just because they are made to fit a bigger rim.
