Will it Fit without lift or cutting

I have a 2002 f.150 ext cab 4x4 flareside with the 4.6 and I am wanting to step up to a little bit bigger and a little wider tire. I am runnign Dunlop Mud Rovers in a 285x75 on eagle alloy 16 rims. I would like to get some BFG All-Terains in a 30x 70 for my truck with the same 16x8 rims and I want to know if they will fit, does anyone know for sure anyone running a stock 4x4 with 305's on 16 rims.

You can fit a 305/70-16 on a 16x10 inch wheel by cranking up the torsion bars and trimming a little plastic off the front bumper's lower valance. If you use an 8 inch wide wheel, you shouln't have to do either.

Thanks, I found some tires I think look good if anyone has used them let me know what you thought and about how many miles you got out of them, they are procomp all-terrains I found them buy three get one free. it will cost me about $750 to have them shipped to my door for 305 70 16's does that sound good or not. I am new to the whole big tires thing the size I ran on my other truck was only 30 9.5 15's so I am unexperienced.

I've read mixed reviews on the Pro Comp AT's. Their new Xtrem AT seems to a much better tire. I'd suggest going with the BFG AT KO, Nitto Terra Grapplers or Toyo Open Country AT's.
