First off my truck is a 2002 F-150 FX4. I have the torsion bars full out and am running a 265/70 16 under it now with an amazing amount of clearance.I am considering going with Pro Comp Alloy 16" rim on a super swamper LTB 34X10.50 16 tire. My first question is will the rim I have selected fit over the brake caliper on the truck. My next question is will that tire and rim combo fit on my truck with the 3" PA Body lift. Also if any of you have had this tire before was the treadwear extremely bad? I know that super swampers wear fast but I do not want to have to purchase tires 6 months down the road since I drive about 30 miles back and forth to work every day. Thanks in advance for any input.

 

yes a 16" will fit over your caliper a 15" wont, yes 34" will fit with a 3" PA body lift, and yes the super swamper LTB wear real fast, 6 months at only 30 miles a day? i think they will last longer than 6 months

 

I wouldn't want a bias ply tire on a daily driver. I think you would be much better off with a radial.
