Maxxis Bighorn......Any Ideas

Looking at getting some new tires for my Scab.

Been looking at either Buckshots or Mud Brutes.

Ran across Maxxis new Bighorn. Tread is not as aggressive but a good looking tire for thr price.

Anybody have any experience with 'em??

no experience with the maxxis bighorns, but i do have the remington mud brutes. from my experience they last a long time. i had a set on the back of a 95 f150 i finally took them off after 85k miles. then put them on my trailer. so now they have about 96k. now i have 4 an my 00 f150. i got all 4 for $475 mounted and balanced. but thats a 265/75/16. next i am going to get 305/70/16's i don't know what the price is yet.

lata

i need to get new pics.

I found a shop where I can get Mud Brutes 305/70/17 for $640 M&B. The price jumps up quite abit when you mention 17".

Know a couple of guys that run 'em and they love 'em. For the tread the road noise ain't bad either.

Probably what I'll end up going with.

Who makes those Mud Brutes, I am looking possibly for a cheap mud tire in a
17'' rim. Trying to figure out so I can call around and try to find 'em around here.

buckshots are great tires. a couple of my buddies run them on an 86 F-150 and a 96 Dodge. they get good mileage and great traction for the price.

I have the bighorns on my truck right now. They are 315's, and I think that they are awesome. I couldn't be happier. I think that they perform almost as well as the goodyear MTR's. These bighorns are almost as quiet as my 285 MTR's I used to have before the lift. I would recommend them, can't beat them for the price.
