wandell ur help plz

I have been searching alot and i remember you recomended to me awile back to try and keep the same backspacing as stock rims.. Well i found rims that i like in a 17x9 and they are pro comp 1079's 6x135. The only thing is that they are all 4.75 BS What types of things will i have to worry about with running these ?? I have a 05 4x4scab with no lift rite now and i am hoping to run either 305's or 315's with this rims and if needed a levling kit..

Thanks alot

Really, tire clearance should be your only concern. Those wheels will stick out about 2 1/4 inches farther than your OEM wheels. I believe you will need a leveling kit to fit 33's with those wheels.

What if I go with a 16x10 wheel with 33's and a 3" botdy lift. What if anything will rub with a ten inch wide rim?? Is it actually the rim that will rub or is the tire stick that much farther back into the wheel well.. Help me out..

Brandon, your truck is completely different than his 05. If your 2002 truck is a 4x4 or a 4x2, you can run 33's on a 10 inch wide wheel with a 3 inch body lift. Your OEM wheels have 4 1/2 inches of backspacing, which is what you also want on the 16x10's. If your 02 is a 4x2, you may have to trim the lower corner of your front bumper's lower valance slightly because the tire will touch it. If you have a 4x4, you probably won't have to trim any.

Probably, or a wheel with more backspacing.
