I've had Dayton Timberline A/Ts on my wifes Amigo for two winters now, they seem to be a fairly decent tire and they have a Timberline M/T for under a hundred in my size, I've heard some fairly good reviews about them.

Kids, I swear.

Let me explain this in terms you may understand:

1999 Amigo (V6) 0-60 = 8sec, 1/4 mile = 16.1 sec

2005 F150 (V8) 0-60 = 9.12sec, 1/4 mile = 16.56 sec

It also comes with excellent marks in off road ability from Petersons and Off Road, meaning it will go pretty much anywhere your F150 will go in stock form.

When we first got it, we had a lot of fun blowing off Escape's and Liberty's, and the look on V8 Explorer and Blazer drivers as we blew them off was especially funny.

Best one was a Tahoe, there's a stretch of road that goes from two to one lane in about 100 yards after a stoplight. Popular place for people to try and show off, I always get in the correct lane at the light, you know the one you should be getting into since in the other lane you have to yield and merge.

That sucker tailgated me for almost 20 miles afterwards all the way to Ames, wouldn't pass, just stayed on my *** because he got embarrased.

Plus the mileage ain't bad.

They quit making them in 1994, namely because the only engines were seriously wimped out 4 bangers. They brought them back in 98 with the 6 cylinder available in a hard top and ran through 2000 at which point they went with the Rodeo sport.
