325/70-16 Nittos on 16X8 rim with 99 150 4x4

I think I follow. But if someone can sanity check me I would feel better.

LT325/70 R16 121Q Nitto Recomends the following rims: 8.5-(9.5)-10.0

I have a 16x8 factory rim. I would assume this tire is gonna wear a little
fast in the center of the tred on this rim correct?

I got these for a charm so I got to shoe horn them on my 99 150. I have no lift
I expect to need to do some triming and not have a full turning radius but these should work right? I am kinda nervous cause I dont see any post about them here, everyone going with the 315/75 16

Anyway comments welcome.

Thanks guys.

They should fit, but the factory wheels are 16x7, not 16x8. You will need a wider wheel. I'd personall go with a 16x10.

How is it I knew that rim was too small. So you mesuare the rim width from the inside of the lip on the rim then. I get 7 inches inside....

So.... Can anyone guess my next question?

What's the cheapest 16X9 or 16X10 rims for a 99 F-150 with the 5x135 bolt pattern? I would LOVE black rim's but the couple black rims I find in 16 inch are only 8 inches wide. But really at this point I would be happy with ugly steel wheels.

Anyway any tips on where to look for a deal would be great.

Thanks for the help...

er question if anyone can help me. I have been reading non stop about all things tires..

Can someone tell me what backspacing we allready have on factory 16 and 17 inch rims?

Does anyone know of a problem on rims with 4.5 inch backspacing? Am i correct in understanding that it would push the tires out of the wheels wells a bit?

THe backspacing on the OEM 16x7 and 17x7.5 inch wheels is 4.5 inches. THis is what you want on aftermarket 16x10's also. As for wheels, check out the Eagle Alloy 058's. You can usually find them pretty cheap. Here's a pic of my old 058's.
