What is the smallest wheel to fit on a 04" Fx4

Im debating whether just to purchase a new set of wheels knowing that tires for a 18" rim are pricey as hell. Does anyone know the smallest rim that will fit on the 04' FX4?

Some 17" wheels will fit, but not all.
