rotor retaining nut - 2002 Super Crew

Hello all, I'm new to the board and looking for some help. Can anyone tell me the size of wrench I need to remove the retaining nut on an '02 Super Crew. Sorry for the stupid question I'm out of town and working with limited tools.

Regards

From: Georgia on my mind...

I just use a crescent wrench or a big pair of channel lock pliers. It shouldn't be on very tight.

You didn't state whether it's a 2wd or a 4x4, so I'll cover both:

2wd: Remove the wheel, caliper, center cap (dust cap), cotter pin, retainer, and nut. The rotor will now fall off.

4WD: Remove the wheel, caliper, and rotor. The rotor is simply sandwiched between the wheel and the hub flange. They often corrode together. A BFH, heavy-duty puller, heat, penetrating oil, and/or all of the above are often necessary to remove the rotor.
