any front end problems with leveling kit and bigger tires?

i just traded a 05 dodge 2500 with the dreaded death wobble. i had 315 bfg a/t's on and the front end problem was never able to be fixed. i would like to level my f-150 and put 33 or 35 tires on it, but i don't want any issues with the front end. thanks

You may want to go with a suspension system. Some people have their control arms hit the spring as well as un-ideal drive/steering angles. Most people get away with it with no problems. Considering you are just getting out of a truck that gave you headaches, you may want to do it right this time and get a engineered system. The leveling spacers, granted are a cheap way to get bigger rubber under there, really isnt the best way to acheive what you are wanting to do.

I have an 04 Screw and the leveling kit and have no problems with it. Im about to go to 33s and we will see. I have a coworker that has an 04 Screw 4x4 with the leveling kit and 35s on 17s and he has no problems as well. My opinion, youll be fine.

if you're going with a leveling kit, and larger tires, imo, you'd be perfectly fine- ive had my 2.5" kit on my truck for about 10,000 miles now on 33" muds, and they werent easy miles, and the trucks riding like new still!
welcome to f150 online- head on down to the 04-06 forum for more answers and lots of ways to spend money you may or may not have

I've never read a post concerning a problem with death wobble on an F-150 (stock, leveled, lifted or lowered).
