I have been reading posts on this site and I finally joined.
I have a Red 2001 F-150 4.6 V8 XLT Sport (basically the exact same body style as the Lightning-color keyed bumpers etc).
I know it may sound a little lame, but I am building my truck to be a Lightning clone so to speak (with the exception that mine will have a Cobra R cowl hood).
Anyway my truck is finally paid off and now I am going to blow some money on it.

I ordered a set of 18" SVT Lightning Rims today (painted finish). I bought a set of 285/60/18 BF Goodrich G-force T/A's to put on them. should have them on my truck by next Friday at the latest.

Other immediate plans include window tinting, maybe next weekend if I can swing it money wise.

I will eventually add a Cobra R Hood and Lightning style (OEM) body kit (probably mid summer).

I already have IMCO exhaust (real loud) and a modded airbox with K&N cone filter.

Anyway, I just wanted to say hello and talk about my new rims I ordered. I'm so freakin excited!

That sounds sweet. There is one here in the Houston area that is an 04 Lightning clone. Enjoy!
