Need help choosing tire!!!

I need to replace my stock tires. I have GoodYear Wrangler AT/S 265/70/17 on a FX4. Cant complain about the tire so far I have 51,000 miles on them, and when it rains they are starting to lose traction a little. Thinking of BFG AT's or Revos. My buddy owns a shop and suggested putting the Wranglers back on Im getting the tires at cost and which is about the same pricing online. I live in the North East and do mostly highway miles with some offroad crappy weather.

I like my BFG AT KO's. I've had them for about 5k miles now and am impressed so far. I have the 285/70/17 which is about a 33" tire. I also live in the North East and the tires have done very well for me in the slush and snow as far as traction and over all handling... They are expensive tires though.

The Revo's are supposed to be very good. There are many members who really like that particular tire. I think you are leanning more towards them any way. Try them out. They are a good tire.

thanks for your input I like the way they look and have heard a lot of positives about them they are the same price also. As soon as tear out my ball joints and replace them Im gonna put a set of tires on. Will post pics as soon as they stop putting salt down on the roads and I can keep it clean for a day.

My truck came with 265/70/17 wrangler LT's. I would tear them up in the rocks off road. I replaced them with BFG AT KO's, not much better and noiser on the road. Last summer I went with Revos, LTs, the traction isn"t quite as good as the KO's on snow and A "little" stifer ride but I like these the best.

I have the REVO's on my FX4, but we haven't seen snow in 15 years.

I did have the BFG's, and loved them for 80,000 miles. I like the REVO's too, they don't make as much noise.

There is a picture in my gallery.

HAd them done last Wed, so I put 500 miles on them and like em so far, very good in the rain. Supposed to snow here Fri Ill see how they are. Gotta post my pics tonight. Thanks for the info I like the way they look.
