Rear end Bouncing after brake job

Rear end Bouncing after brake job

I recently done a rear brake job on my 95 f-150 super cab 4x4.Replaced drums, shoes, springs everything and now when stopping it bounces you out of your seat the harder you brake the harder the bounce? any ideas please

sounds like out-of-round drums.
have them turned.

Or maybe you installed the shoes backwards.

Hopefully, you noted which was the long and which was the short one...

explane what you mean by "bounce"
does the rear actually bounce off the ground?

how are the rear shocks?
bet they are orig also

...zap!

Are the rear wheels locking up when it is "bouncing"?

Did you properly lube the adjuster mechanism?
Did you put the adjuster mechanism on the correct side? One is specific to the left side and the other specific to the right.
Did you properly lube the sides of the brake shoes and the backing plate?

truck does not bounce off ground,shocks are a month old,everything was properly lubed including adjusters and such.

tires are not locking up.more of a hop than a bounce

bad NEW drums

the new drums i got were warrped took back got new ones now good
