37" on 4" Rancho

I know, old question, but will 37's on 20's fit with just a 4" Rancho (5.5" actual). I find it hard to believe that I could have 35" BFG Muds on with no rubbing with just a 2.5" autospring and couldn't fit 37x12.50x20 with a 5.5". I know that Rancho states that you should stick with 35's but is that just because anything bigger will rub under full articulation. I plan on taking the truck off road but nothing too extreme. Do you think the 37's would be fine with no ridiculous off roading?

Thanks for the help.

The reason for my inquiry is that I saw 37's of a 05 F-150 2wd with the new 6" skyjacker lift at the SEMA show and there looked like plenty of clearance in the wheel wells, it's probably on the skyjacker website.

That is what I am thinking. Now it seems like with a real lift the 35s are going to look too small.
If you already have the 35"s, and are going to get the lift anyway, just take the truck to a 4wheelparts or other off-road shop in your area and tell them to test fit one of the 37"s on your rim. They did that for me with my 35"s and got themselves a deal out of it!

I think it would be a streatch with the 4 inch rancho kit with 37s. I hear people saying the Rancho kit is 5.5 inches but Mine measured out to just about 4 inches. Are people measuring before and after WITH new tires? That will give you some more lift.

Good luck.

I put 285s on mine. So I have TONS of clearance. Nice and functional.

You are not going to be able to run 37's with just a rancho lift....
