Question Cleaning Wheels?

Hey, Got a question here I couldn't seem to find a straight answer with when I searched it.

I have polished alloy 20" MB Motoring Rims, and They're about 5 Years Old. And was wondering how to clean then GOOD. I've heard the horror stories of keeping these kinds of rims cleaned, but was wondering if there was any special technique on getting the shine back well...

It looks like they have little embedded water droplets (Possibly Lime Build up) On them, and I've used 2 kinds of mothers Wheel Cleaners, as well as pressure washed them. My dad said he was talking to a mechanic a while back who suggested Sand blasting them? Any idea's?

THanks in advance

They need to be polished with a polishing compound. Sandblasting them would be about the same as trying to restore the shine on your trucks paint by sanding it with 80 grit sandpaper.
