tires sizes

I own a 2006 f150 xl 4x4 i just bought some really nice fx4 wheels off of ebay for really cheap i got get some tires for em and i wanted to keep the tires stock size but i want bf goodrich all terrains or something similar. i just want then to stay the stock height. My question is.. will a 285 65 r18 be too wide for the factory fx4 rims or will these be ok? i would rather go with the stock 275 65 r18s but seem to have a hard time finding that width in an all terrain tire. i dont really care what brand tires they are just as long as they are fairly quiet on the highway and more agressive than the factory tires. Also i would like to try and keep the cost down pretty good i dont wanna go too much over 200 a piece any suggestions? pics of your ride thats similar? thanks.

The 285/75-18 BFG's are the perfect choice for the OEM 18x7.5 inch wide wheels. They will only be about 1/2 inch taller and 1/2 inch wider than the OEM tires.
