Question In need of some tire/rim help

i have a 2001 ford f-150 supercab stepside. its about ready for a new set of tires and im strongly leaning towards the bfg all terrains. i go offroad once and a while but im mostly on the road. my tire size is 265/70/ 17in rims
as im sure you all know that 17 in rim really makes it a lot tougher to get the tire you want but i do know that the bfg all terrain makes ones to fit what im trying to decide is if i would be better off spending a little on some 16 in rims and saving some money on the tires or keeping the 17 in rims and paying a little more on the tires. if i did change the rims i like those rock crushers rims the best but i dont know if they sell them in the right size for my trucks.

thank you in advance for any insight you can provide on the subject

i have listed a website below where you can view a picture if you want

Your going to spend a lot more for a set of 16" rims, than you are with the difference between 16" and 17" BFG ATs. Keep the size you have.

He's right. Your truck would look great with a set of 16x10's and some 305/70-16 BFG AT KO's however. It just depends on what you want.
