I'm have a problem with putting the center caps of the 01' chrome lariat wheels on a 98 f150. I know all about the 12mm and 14mm situation, my problem is the center cap will not bite the 12mm lug because its a 3/4 head , I was going to put the 12 mm center cap of the 98' f150 on but it is short to touch the lug nut. My question is there anybody that sells flat seat lugs 12mmx2.0 with a 13/16 head? Or any solution of putting the center caps on snug? I don't want to change studs or anything like that.

 

That wheel came out in 99 for the Off Road package, then switched to the standard Lariat wheel with the larger studs by 2001. Maybe you cna find or order some caps from the 99 that still uses 12mm lugs.
