Kumho tires???

Anyone have experience with Kumho Road Venture AT tires? I'm looking at a set of 285/70's to put on my 03 King Ranch stock rims.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Tire reply

Kumho is a really good tire as far as I am concerned. You might wanna check out Falken tires. They have some good tred patterns and their a wicked lookin tire.

I had a set of 275/40ZR17 Kuhmo Ecsta ASX put on my 01 Mustang GT. They wore terribly and were more than half gone after 10k miles. Granted, a car like that tends to be hard on tires, but there is no reason they should have worn that fast IMO.

I've heard mixed reviews on them. Heard that they tend to wear too quickly. The price is alright if you look at Tire Rack, but I heard enough negative things that I am just going to go with BFG A/T's. They are a sure bet to last you a long time and be aggressive too. Very expensive though.
