Got My New Tires 35" Bf Goodrich Mud-terrians
#16
Big Rob,
I knew a guy that worked at Costco. He hooked me up with free installation (usually $40) and got me %15 off the tires. The tires were normally $253 a tire. It should have costed me around $1100 but I paid $910. They are expensive but definetly worth it. I would say with the 2.5 leveling kit and the 35 tires the front end of my truck was raised a good 4.5" and the rear was raised a good 2". I have to use the step up bars to get into the truck now. As far as off-roading I have not gone off-roading yet. There are no close places to go in the suburbs of chicago. And yes you are right the tread depth is very deep. These tires will last a very long time as long as you stay off the highway and dont burn them out. I highly recommend these tires to anyone. I'm trying to talk my buddy to putting them on his F-250.

If you regear your truck u should gain power back and gas mileage back as well depending on what size gearing you put in there. What is your gas mileage like right now. I have a 05 4x2 screw and want to do a little lift with possibly 35's but i was wondering what people were getting for gas mileage.

I have a front leveling kit installed (don't remember if 2 or 2.5) and rub @ full turns with 33x12.5. If you area going to go off road I would suggest the 33's. (The 35's do look good though). Unfortunately it is not all about looks if you use your truck for anything other than highway travel.
