tire help

Right now i have 38x15.5/16.5 super swampers. And they are worn out bad, so i've been looking around and i like the toyos m/t, but i would have to get new rims(17"). i'm looking for something it a 37".But i was worndering about the Mickey Thompson baja claw(not radial) because i can get those in my size rim...but are those good tires or ae they not worth it...any thots would be helpful thanks......

The Baja Claws are a pretty good tire.

I would go with Procomp Xterain tires. I have them on mine and they have held up great. I have like 50k on them and getting more each day. They got great grip and great looks. So man I think it would be worth your time to look at them.

I've looked at those, but i'm trying to find something that will fit on my rims (16.5) because i'm short on cash...thanks tho

Most bias ply tires tend to give the same problems. Wandering on the highway, flatspotting overnight, etc. Were your Super Swampers radials or the standard TSL bias ply? If they were the regular TSL's, I think the bias ply Claws would be an improvement on the highway since the thread pattern is less aggressive.

I had the TSL radials, so would they be a worst ride or would i not notice it....thank

I believe Bigtruck311 has baja claws... Ask him what he thinks of em.
