315 on stock, look out for some troubles
I saw a guy who was running 315 on stock rims...hmmm not a good idea, he had to do some triming and also the tires were rubbing when he was turning completely the wheels. Another thing, 315 on stock, you will have problems to keep the pressure up, it will slowly deflate. My advice, run 33" which should fit good on the stock rims.

[QUOTE=APT]Yes, all 97-03 4wd F-150's are the same height except tire differences. All will accept up to 315/70R17 or 315/75R16.
That is very nice to know APT, thanks....I have a 97 f150 4x4 with the off road package and I just ordered some new tires for it. I am going with the Pro Comp all terrains 33 12.50 17. This is equivilant to the 305 series tires. I got one heck of a deal on them also. I checked with tirepackage.com and they quoted me $675. That was buy 3 and get one free also with free shipping. I contacted a local tire guy and he checked on a price for me from tirepackage.com and he quoted me $517 installed! HMMMMM I wonder which one I will go with
