05 F150 305x65-17R Xtreme A/T
I,m looking for another opinion before I go and order right away. I posted pics so you could see why I need help.
I installed the 2" leveling kit and have been contemplating all winter what combo I should go with. Thinking about ProComp Xtreme A/T. Will the 305-65-17s fit? Does anyone have these running? Any pics? Really wanted to mount them on Helo Maxx 8, but, it sounds like everyone else is getting them. So to be a little different, I decided on the Moto 950 17X8. Will that look alright or will it have the balloon look? What kind of backspacing do I need?
Right now there are 235s on her. Hankook from the factory. After putting the leveling kit on it, it looks like 35s would fit since there is so much room. Am I right?
My main concern is if these tires are loud. Can someone relate? I also would like to know if this size tire will stick out a little because I am going for the aggressive off-road look.

Yes, the 305/65-17's (33x12.50's) will fit with a leveling kit, especially if you have a 4x4. Your OEM wheels are 17x7.5 inches with 5 1/2 inches of backspacing. I would try to keep the backspacing close to that. The problem you may have is using an aftermarket 17 inch wheel. You see, sometime during the 05 model year, Ford changed their brake calipers. This is causing fitment issues with SOME aftermarket 17 inch wheels. Just be sure to test fit a wheel before you start mounting and balancing tires.

As far a noise goes, they are surprisingly quiet for mudders. I've only had them on a week so I can't comment on treadwear. From what I have read, people seem to be getting pretty good wear out of them. I never expect as many miles out of a mudder as I do an all terrain. Thanks for the comments.
