Nitto or Toyo or ????

Hey guys,

In search of new tires, was looking at either Nitto terra grappler a/t in 295/70/17 or the ever popular Toyo open country a/t's, in 285/70/17. What is the consensous on either, that bieng the size for each that I want. I have the stock 265/70/17 Goodyear AT/S and am satisfied, maybe just bigger. I want that type of tire, somewhat aggressive, but not a mud terrain. Also been looking at the BFG's all terrain. I want something that comes with black sidewall too!!

Any opinions, oh ya keeping the 17" stock rims, saw blade style. What is biggest for this rim? Lay the opinions on me.

Oh ya, to the Windsor guys, watch out for a newer HD 350 diesel that is jacked at least 3 feet. Awesome truck!! This thing honestly was the highest superduty I've seen short of bigfoot. And to boot, it is a Harley edition.

You might also want to look at the 285/70/R17 Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo's. They just came out April 1st. You can have either the BW or OWL facing out. There is a $75.00 rebate through May 6th. Nice tire. Made to last and last and last.

The Nitto's and Toyo's are both excellent tires and are almost identical in looks and performance since they are made by the same company.

Does anyone have pics of those sizes on their stock 17's? Nice looking aggressive tire the Bridgestone, thanks for the link.

These aren't stock 17's, but here is the new Goodyear Wrangler SilentArmor. They have a nice, agressive tread and are still pretty quiet for an offroad style tire.

Whoops, can't write like I talk, but kidding aside, I didn't know they made em in that size because I love the AT/S that I have now (stock tires/size). Because I didn't see them in the size I wanted, I opted to look for BFG's or Nitto's or Toyo's. Thanks for the help, truck looks sweet!!!

I had to dig up this post because I knew I saw that size before, but it is nowhere to be found on the goodyear site, WTF? I gotta call discount tire and find out for sure because they list them in the size I want, the 285/70/17.
