Older vs newer ford truck wheels, do they interchange?

Hi Guys,
I have a 93 Ford Lightning & was wondering if the newer lightning bolt pattern will interchange with mine ? Or how I can I use the newer wheels on the older truck ?
thanks,
Don

In most cases you can usually find adapters to fit other bolt patterns - I come across this alot putting other manufacturers rims on my VW's, such as Porsche, BMW & Mercedes rims.

Hope that sheds a little light - I have yet to do anything like this on my truck.

They are not the same bolt pattern.
Pre 97 = 5x5.5"
97-03 = 5x135mm(5.31")
04 up = 6x135mm

Editted to correct 04 up

Your right. That is what I meant to type. Will edit. A case of brain and fingers not connected.

Thread Size of the Lightning 5x135mm studs

Hi Guys,
Does anyone know what thread size the newer lightning 5x135mm lugs are & if they are flat or tapered where they contact the wheels. I found a guy who can make adapters to use the newer 5x135mm wheels on the older lightning with the 5x5.5" bolt pattern, but need to get this info to have them built.
thanks,
Don
