Will the Helo Maxx 6 wheels, 17x9, fit on the 06 F-150. Just talked to the place where i am wanting to buy wheels from and they said that Helo tells them that the 17x9 wont fit because of the caliper. He didnt know anymore than that about them. Can anyone help me with this?

 

youre wheel guy is most likely correct- only some 17" rims will clear the brake calipers of 04 and up f150's have you looked at the 18" maxx 6's?

 

Your wheel guy is wrong. There are some that wont fit, but these will, if you are talking about the chrome. I have a 04 Screw and those rims and they fit fine. Visual proof in my gallery by the way. Your calipers are the same size as mine. They are rapped in 295/70/17 Nitto Terra Grappler A/T's and I love them. Hope this helps.

 

Thanks to both of you. Do either of you know if 35 inch tires will fit with only a 2.5inch leveling kit.

 

yes- you may experience rubbing- but thats pretty much a case by case basis

 

Just go with the 18" Maxx 6....they look perfect with 325x60x18 tires.....check my gallery

 

Your truck looks awesome!! I would go with 18's, but they dont make the tire i want for them, and they are so much more expensive. What is the overall diameter of your tires?
