Tires Rubbing

I just got some new 22" rims for my 2001 Ford F150 Supercrew. They look real nice, but they rub when I turn hard to the left or right. I got a suggestion lightning wheel stops. Is this a good idea? If not what does anyone suggest.

At least try it because it sounds like it would do the trick.

Are they difficult to put on and does anyone have any illustrations that show where they should go.

my friend had 22s put on his 01 screw with very minimal rubbing. wat size are your tires? you might be able to get away with just a little trimming

They are 10" wide. I am not sure about the backspacing and offset.

I don't think the lightning stops are that hard, as it is sold for this purpose, like a common upgrade. Like bigplayer says maybe a little trim is all that's needed.

Since you got your 22'' rims put on your truck, has your steering wheel been shaking while driving at all? Mine does and cant figure out why!!

wat size are the tires. the lighting stops might fix the rubbing but why spend more money when all you may need to do is trim an inch or so. get a friend to turn the wheel and maybe let it role so that you can see exactly where it is rubbing.

Where is it rubbing?
I believe the lightning wheel stops are only to keep the wheel from hitting the control arm at full turn.

If your tires are rubbing the valence, the wheel stops wont help with that.
