Does anyone have any experience with thesei new Silent Armore tires? I'm ready to replace the stock RT/S's on my 2003 Supercrew Lariot 4X4 and have been looking at these. Since they are relatively new, the reviews are limited. The truck is primarily a daily driver but I do use it for hauling my son's ATV, firewood and the usual do it yourself supplies. It sees some offroad use as I perpare some land we own for building.
Guess my biggest concern after looking at it is the potential road noise at highway speeds. Even though Goodyear says it is one of the quietest tires in the Wrangler lineup, this is there rating!

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

If you look back a few pages in this section I think, there is talk about Nitto or Toyo's or... and one guy had mentioned about his. He has the newer style like an 05 but with 285's and it looks sweet. I've always had the at/s' and had no probs, except maybe they are too small.

I've talked with several locals about the Wrangler Silent Armor and am having a set installed this afternoon. Mine is 2003 Supercrew Lariot 4wd. Will let you know what I think in a day or so. My second choice was the Michelin LTX M\S. I'm going thru a dealer that handles both and have told them up front if I don't like them I will be taking advantage of the 30 day trial from Goodyear and exchanging them for the Michelin.
