What to clear a 35.5/12.5/20??

I would like to put the 325/60/20 BFG KO on the factory 20's. Would a 2" AS and a rear AAL (Skyjacker 1.5) clear them? Thanks for your help!!

I believe all you will need is the Autospring kit.

Thanks!!! That is what I am hoping I wish BFG would make a 34" KO. The 325/60/20 is almost 36" tall!!!

Nebraska,

How wide are your factory 20's ? The BFG website says for that tire you need a 9" minimum.

Yes, several members here and at FTW are running 35x12.50's by using the OEM 17x7.5 and 18x7.5 inch wheels and a 2.5 inch leveling kit.

Wandell,

Aren't the 325/60/20 a little over 13" wide instead of 12.5" like everything else ? I could be wrong but it seems like a pretty wide tire to squeeze onto a stock rim and expect it to wear correctly.

Right. The 325's are wider than 12.50 inches. They are in the 13.00 to 13.50 inch width range. I personally wouldn't put a 325mm wide tire on a 7.5 inch wide wheel unless I was gonna buy wider wheels in the very near future. Even a 12.50 inch wide tire is wider than recommended for a 7.5 inch wheel, but I know a lot of people that have run that combo for 10s of thousands of miles with no problems.

The EOM 20's are 20x8.5 according to the drivers door. I agree about putting them on a 7.5 inch wheel would not be a good idea. I am hoping to get the lift on June 12th and then the tires buy the end of June!! I will post pics as I progress.

I really like the look and stance of Nebraska's truck, pretty much what I am shooting for.

Wandell or Nebraska, how do you think the new BFG 285/65/20 would look on the same set up ? I really like the way the 35" tire fills the wheel wells but with fuel costs and added drain of power on the engine, would a narrower tire be more efficient without looking too skinney ?

I will be filling up today and will post my new MPG! I think the 285/65/20 would look nice. What is the over all height and width of the tire? THe 325/60/20 is 35.5 tall and 13 wide. I will try and take acouple pics of the tire to show the width more. Hope this helps.

The 285's dimensions would be 34.6" tall and 11.6 wide.
