noob question

This is probaly a real dumb question....

Can I fit a 20" moto 951s on a tire that wont rub? I wanted 33's but was told they would rub when the wheel is cut all the way.

If the width and backspacing is correct, you can fit a 33x12.50-20. It will look better with a leveling kit though.

I will be adding a 2" AS leveling kit. But, people still say they will rub with 20's and 33's.

Should I get a smaller tire?

The tire is will only be an issue if you don't have enough backspacing in the rim (to little backspacing will push the tire out and it will rub) or a really wide rim (20X9 or 10). Plenty of people hae put 33's on the 04-06 just fine especially with the leveling kit. I have an 02 with 33's but if you look at some people's gallery you will see some who have done it.

Exactly. Look for an 8 to 9 inch wide wheel with 5 or 5.5 inches of backspacing.

well the next size down is 18x9 and it says it only has 4 1/2 BSing. So will this not fit either?

Personally, I wouldn't go with a 9 inch wheel with less than 5 inches of backspacing, but it depends on how much you like the tires to stick out of the wheelwells.

apparently, there gunna make 20x9 moto 951s. It says they will have a 30mm offset. Im not too sure what this means. Could this wheel possibly fit (couldn't find the BSing)?
