Tire Pressure?? What is the proper pressure?

The door jam says 50 for the front, and 60 for the rear, and the tires say 65 max. What's best for tire wear and gas milage?
thanks,

Use what is on the door as long as they are the OE tires or if a replacement are the same load range. The 65 is the max pressure for the tire, which you will probably never need.
If you normally do not carry a load in the bed, the rears may be able to be lowered somewhat, but I would not go below what is used in the front. Then if you have to tow or haul something put them back up to the recommended.

Wow, that's high. My 00 has 35 front and back cold on the jamb sticker, and the tires, GY AT/S 17's say max of 45-50 something like that. Do what the door jamb tells ya. Going higher will make it wear faster because it is after all max. stated on the tire.

He probably has load range D or E tires. That would not be that high for those.

Edit - And probably an 8200lb GVW truck.

I think youre right.
Just use the tire pressure on the door jamb if these are still the stock tires on the truck.
