Need tire help!

I want some aggressive, yet street friendly 33" tires! I need them to be quiet and wear well! I'm having a hard time finding some for my 18's so I need help! I feel like the BFG MT fits my needs perfectly except that there isn't a 33" tire in 18's and the Toyo MT's are not only pretty expensive but they are also on backorder for who knows how long. Suggestions? Pics and mileage #'s are good too!

I think your best bet is the BFG AT KO's they wear great and are aggressive looking yet street friendly......285/65/18.

Yeah I've been thinking the same but wanted a little more aggressive if I could. I had a set on my last truck and got 50k out of them before I sold the truck with still some tread left. The AT's are great tires but I wanted maybe a little more aggressive tread. Thanks!

The BFG AT KO's are the most aggressive looking all terrian tires available in my opinion. To go with something more aggressive you are gonna have to go to a mud terrian, which is going to be noisy on the highway. That's the bad part about tires, they are always a compromise.

BFG AT's are leading the way right now but only b/c I can't figure out a little more aggressive tire. Like I said before, I think the BFG MT's would be what I'm looking for but they don't come in a 33" for 18's. My friend had some 35's on his Chevy and they were very street friendly for an MT- fairly quiet, not too harsh of a ride, and I think he got like 45k out of them which I don't think is too bad from a mud tire.

BFG muds will be noisy and if you have to worry about icy roads in the winter they can be sketchy as well...have you looked at the Nitto Terra Grappler, my buddy just put 285/65R18s on his lifted 4Runner(looks pretty cool) and I gotta say they are not a bad lloking tire...quiet, supposed to wear well and it lloks fairly aggressive. Check em out

Yeah I've seen the Nitto. I'm not too crazy about them. To be honest, I don't see why people are making such a big deal out of them. I saw where a guy only got like 30-35k out of a set. I'd much rather have the BFG AT's and get 50+k out of them not to mention they are a lot more aggressive to me but that's just my 2 cents. It rarely gets icy here in North GA and my friend's BFG MT's weren't loud at all on his lifted Chevy. All I can say from his experience is STAY AWAY FROM MAXXIS CREEPY CRAWLERS!!!! He only got about 15k out of a set! They sucked!

I've got to agree with you about the Nitto Terra Grapplers. Not aggressive enough for me, and don't appear that I'll get any more than about 30k miles out of them. I'll be going with a 305/70/17 Maxxis Buckshot Mudder next. They are only $180 each, which is MUCH less than a BFG MT.

try some maxxis buckshot mudders, my dad had some on his duallie & they lasted him 45+k (with aggressive driving) & they were very quiet on the road, could barely hear them on the highway, theyre pretty aggressive too
