Rear Brake Shoes

Hello everyone I am a big do it yourselfer when it come to brake pads but my 97 F-150 has shoes on the rear and I have never changed them before. So my question is how hard is it to change shoes on my 1997 F-150 extended cab with 4X4 and the 5.4 liter motor? All the crap probably doesn't have anything to do with it but thought I would through it in there. Also does anyone know if there is rear disc comversion kit?

Not sure if there is a kit per say, but try fielding on off a junk yard. Take the whole rearend if cheap enough. Sorry, depends on if it's an 8.8" or the 9.75" because there is kits for the 8.8 I'm sure. Also, for tips, get a Haynes or Chilton manual, they're pretty good for the diy'er.
