Ford changed the brake calipers sometime during the 05 model year which is causing fitment problems with SOME aftermarket 17 inch wheels. But yes, that combo should fit as long as the wheels fit over the brakes. Personally, I think I'd look for a wheel with 5 or 5.5 inches of backspacing.

Does anyone have these wheels on a F150? They look good in the picture... I would like to see them mounted.

Yes, I just got the dc-1's about a week ago, and I absolutely love them. I must have already gotten atleast 10-15 complements on them. I also was not sure about them, as I to was going just on pictures, but trust me you will like them. Plus they are a fairly new wheel, and you will probably be about the only person around town that has them. I have the 16x10's with 4.5 backspacing mounted on the mickey thompson baja mtz's (305/70/16). I have a 98, but with around the 04 and newer you would have to go with the 17x9's i believe. As far as pictures go, I do not have any yet, but will try to get some soon, if I can figure out how! But trust me you will like them, if you liked them at all in the pictures you've seen, you will like them way better in person! I ordered mine(tires and wheels, mounted and balanced) off ebay. It was through a store out of Ohio, called Jordan Tire. These person are great they are a family owned company, and the lady spent about 30 mintues on the phone with me, taking my order and chatting. She is really good to answer all questions. i believe the tires were about $740. Dc-1's were around $550-$575. Plus shipping all in all about $1450 total.
Hope this helps you out some.

Chris J.,

Could you please e-mail me a picture of your truck to:
dbdragracing@yahoo.com
I have to order my new tires and wheels by Monday and I have decided to go with a 16x10 wheel and the 305/70R16 MTZs. Do you like the MTZs so far? Thanks.

So sorry for the extremely delayed response. I havent had the chance to visit this site lately. I have had my tires and wheels for about a month now and I absolutely love them. Lots of complements so far.
The rims are great, and the mickey thompson mtz's seem to be doing fine. Not much tread wear noticable yet, but to new to tell yet.
They are somewhat loud on the highway, but definately not to loud to handle at all, and not nearly as loud as alot of the more aggressive mud terrain tires. Ive put about 1600 miles on them, and absolutely no complaints yet. Truck looks a hell of a lot better too.

As for the pic, if you still would like I will send you one as soon as i can.

Now I remember reading these are polished. Are they clear coated or just polished?

I love the way they look but Im to lazy to clean wheels every 2 weeks.
