joker those are my favorite rims....How much did you pay for them and how much were tires? Where did you order them from? And do you also have two inch drop shackles? Is that a 4x2? Thanks a lot.

thanks! 1200$ per wheel 420$ per tire. that was almost 1 1/2 year ago. I think I saw them for 950$ per wheel at one site. Bought them from http://superbuytires.com/MOMO/Storm/. Its 4x2 STX, with 2 inch drop shackles

cehowardf150,

I have 24's on my 05 with a 2/4 drop and tow a 23' powerboat. Boat and trailer weight about 5k lbs if this helps out with your question.

No rubbing issues at all, but wouldn't mind a 4.10 instead of my 3.55 and the 2" taller tire when running the 24's.

Late Response, Jesse James?

Hi guys, new member here and forum is great. I would like to give my 2cents worth on this issue. First of all Jesse James is an idiot. Just because he has unlimited funds does not make him a braking expert. As mentioned earlier, overall tire diameter is the deciding factor in the brake leverage equation. So even if you are running a 15" wheel with 32.5's it is the same as the 24" incher with the same 32.5" in tire. The advantage of the bigger brakes would only play a part due to increased traction of the wider and more likely softer tire allowing you to take advantage of the larger tire. The guy with the 15" wheel can't get the large brakes can he? As for the towing question I have 22's on my 99 Navi and tow my Mustang or Nova on a regular basis. Granted the Navi has the 3.73 ratio so that makes a difference (BTW 305/45-22). But if you are towing bikes, it shouldn't be much of an issue. I found this thread looking for some pics of 24's on F-150's, I recently purchased an 05 4X4 XLT that i'm planning to put 24's on. Keep the photo's coming. Great pic's so far.
