More tire questions!...

Ok, I know this topic is completley exausted, but I have not found a clear answer to my question. I have an '05 F-150 FX4 with a 2.5" leveling kit. What size tire can I buy that will mount on my stock 18" wheel and not complicate any suspension, body, or trim on my truck. From what I have read, 33's seem to be the best bet. I am hoping to hear that 33x12.50R18 or some equivalent metric size will fit well. According to "Bossman" 35's seem like a terrible idea unless you have a suspension lift, according to others 35's fit fine with moderate trimming... Some advice please! Any other considerations as far as backspacing or offsets that I need address? Thanks for any useful information.

33's would be your best bet, but you can fit 35's on a 4x4 w/ levelling kit and stock rims.

Right. Most everyone running 35's with just a leveling kit is using the OEM wheels.

Ok just so I'm clear here. I can fit 35x12.50R18's on my stock 18" FX4 wheels. And thats all I'm gonna have to do besides check for any rubbing. Correct?

You will need to install a 2 or 2.5 inch leveling kit.

To beat a dead horse will the 33's fit on the 18" stock wheel (with out) a leveling kit? Don't really want to install one unless I have to.
