I think I would have just done the center cap, thats what im thinkin about right now.

edit: I dont like the looks of them either but I do think you deserve credit for doin it yourself, but the truck doesnt look good with black rims. Plus I dont think the paints gonna hold up too well, id think about taking the paint off.

edit: im not painting my center cap that would look bad

at first glance it looked like you were running spares, but if you're feeling it then I say roll with it.

Thumbs down

sorry, don't like em. Chrome/polished would look much better.

I did the same thing to my stock gray steel wheels it came with. The gray was ugly and didn't match anything.

I'm just using these wheels for winter, and some nicer wheels for summer.

...I can't tell if your windows are tinted from the link; but if they are, at least then it seems to pull things together. It's a cheap way to change the look of things from bone-stock

maybe you could get a can of aluminum with metal flake instead or some other metal finish. The black does make them look like spares.

well. i was really just trying to tie them in with the rest of the truck. the only other chrome on it would be the front bumper, since im about to get a new ranch hand for the rear. but if you could find some pics of what you are talking about. it might change my mind.

hey, you got to make due with what you have and what you can afford. If you like them its all that matters.

I like the blacked out look...kinda looks like black sneakers with black socks!
