New Tires

Had a flat last night, it was raining. I was lucky to make it to a car wash, so I had some protection but still got soaked. I would suggest that if you have not taken the jack out and lowered your spare, you might want to do a practice run before you have the real thing. It can be a puzzle in the dark and in the rain.

Had 32,544 miles on the factory tire that had never needed rebalancing, they could have gone another 3000 or so but decided to get some new ones. I wanted the performance of a Michelin and wanted to fill up the wheel well a little more. I was disappointed that I had to go with a 70 instead of the wider tire to get the diameter I wanted in a 17" Michelin. Ended up with LTX M/S 265/70/17s. Black side out, sure glad to get those raised white letters off. They ride very well and handle fantasticly.

Good choice, my dad had some from 98-05 is the time he had them on his 94. That works out to be around 120 000 km's if not more, and great in snow. Good choice.
