Hankook tire wall split

I was driving my 06 F150 at about 5 to 10Km/hr up my sand drive way, and the side wall split on the front tire, the truck has done only 7,000km. The tires look as good as new no scuffs on the tire walls.

I will be contacting Hankook tomorrow but from the messages in this forums it looks like the cost will be down to me, the side wall are as thin as paper, and the tires are only "P" rated. Typical Ford cheep.

Has any one had the same problem and successfully had the tire replaced under warrantee?

No, but there have been dealers that replace problem tires. Call them.
