I have a 2004 F150 STX/XLT. The spare tire key that goes on the end of the rod under the hood was missing from the truck when I bought it. The manual says that the key goes on the end of the rod and then you use that to lower the spare from under the truck. Does anyone know where I can get this key??

 

Guess they changed it for 2005. I just use the ignition key to remove the bumper plug, the rod goes through this hole and has a square end that fits in the funnel shaped opening near the spare. You turn the rod and it lowers.
