36x15.5 on a 8.5in. wide rim

mickey thompson recommends 11'' to 12'' wide rim thats a big difference from an 8.5 but i really like these rims there 20x8.5 dose this sound like a really bad idea putting a 15'' wide tire on a 8.5'' wheel.

yea, thats pushing it quite a bit-unsafe. if you had a 9.5-or a 10 i think you would be more comfortable...

I agree. I'd go with at least a 10 inch wide wheel.

At least a 10" wide. Under that would be unsafe and just wouldnt look good.
