Caution Lowered 2006 screw on 22"s

Be careful, I recently lowered my '06 Screw with a McGaughy's 2"fx4"r and I am running 22x10s 30mm offset with 305/40 22 and over certain bumps and hump I have managed to cut up some side wall on my rear tires and my front tires are sticking out more than the rear. I see all F150 with front wheels sticking out on the side. I am affraid to see what the 3"x5" drop would do to those tires.

I am going to try and see if I can custom order a 35 or 40mm offset so the front tires dont stick out so far. It mat not work, the inside might begin to rub.

So the 2"x4" drop with 295 or 285 wide tires would be better. Or you can trim the inner wheel wells in the back 1/4 inch or so. But, if you go with the 3"x5" drop I would imagine that you will cut those tires up quick.

Yeah, it sounds like you need a wheel with more backspacing.
