Vibration

I have a 2006 SC that only has 1300 miles on it. It vibrates everytime I let it sit. My local dealership says the tires flat spot from sitting to much. So far they have adjusted the air pressure and rebalanced the tires three times. They also had to replace two rims because they scraped them up so bad taking off the wheel weights. Now they tell me a Ford engineer has to come out and drive it before I can get different tires. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks

F150 have some vibration issues. There are some TSB's out there regarding wheel and tire road force, and if too high dealer will likely replace 1 or more tires.Hopefully your dealr has equiptment capable of force matching tires.BTW,what brand of tire is on your truck?

I have an 05 STX and I had some vibration problems after I had been towing. It happened twice and then I finally brought it to the dealer cause it was actually pretty bad. They said that the ebrake was getting hung up and they had to replace my whole ebrake setup (under warranty of course). After talking to one of the mechanics he said they had a few of the new 150s having this problem. I dont know if it could be the same problem you are having but I figured I would throw in my 2 cents.

I had the same problem with my 05. I had 2 tires and 1 wheel replaced. I also have the crappy Generals. These tires will flat spot overnight. Although mine have quit doing it now with 20k on them. Maybe they quit flatspotting after they wear a little bit?
