rim question

Would a 33x13.5 tire on a 10 inch wide rim with 5 inch backspacing -12 mm offset work on a 2000 f150 4x4 offroad? I'm not worried about trimming or sticking out. I am curious if this will rub the frame or anything because of too much backspacing?

Thanks

It will be tight but it will probably work. I have seen a set of 18x10's (4.5 inches of backspacing) and 325/60-18 (33x13.00) tires on a stock 4x4 on Trucks! tv show.

Ya, I plan on putting on a 3 inch body lift and leveling with the torsion bars. I just wasn't certain about the backspacing being too much even though its only 1/2 inch more than stock.

It should be fine. A lot of 17x9 inch wheels for our trucks use 5 inches of backspacing.

Thats what im hoping . If the tire did rub the frame or whatever because of its width what would be the worst thing that could happen?

Thanks again

If it rubs the frame, it will probably just make an irritating noise or rub a shiny spot on the frame.
