Need opinions on Terra Grapplers

I have an 05 with the 17in steel wheels. Right now I have General Tires that need to be replaced. I plan on getting some 18s in the spring. I am thinking about getting the Terra Grapplers for when I have my stock wheels on. Mainly for winter. How are these tires on dry pavement as well as in snow? Right now I have 255/70/17s. The Grapplers are 265/70r/17's, these should fit on my stock wheels?
I was also thinking about going with Firestone Destination A/T, but the Grapplers would be my first choice. Let me know what you guys think? Thanks, Eric

Good tire for on-road and light off-road. Should be able to get 40K miles out of them.

I am thinking of going with them as well. I have heard nothing but good things about them. Low noise, long lasting, and they look good as well. They are a little more expensive, but when you are dropping cash like that anyway.. Who cares!!

I'm getting ready to replace my generals with the same tires (only 295/70-17.) Discount Tire Direct has your size for $121 vs. $180 for the BFG AT/KO. I'm leveling the front and changing the rims though.

The Toyo's are almost identical in performance and appearance to the Nitto's. In fact, they are made in the same factory. As for the 285/60 vs. 275/65, they should be the same height. THe 285's will just be 10mm wider.

Super happy with the Grapplers.....quiet & smooth ride, with a sporty agressive look....a win win! Mine are 20" though.
