2.5 with 35's
I know there has been much talk about this and i have found some trucks on the site that have this done on OEM rims..
I just ordered the autospring 2.5, and now looking for 35x12.5's . am i limited on brands due to rubbing and fitment on OEM rims or can i go with a nice mud tire. I dont use my truck as a daily driver so im not to worried about uneven tread wear but more about rubbing..
All help is appreciated..

05BLUE150,
If you have 17" factory rims +the AS 2.5" then you can put 315/70R17 BFG A/T on with minimal issues. I have that exact set up on my '06 SCrew and the only rubbing I had was on the drivers side inner (black) fenderwell ~ that was easily resolved by trimming 1" off of the bottom edge towards the back of the truck using a boxcutter knife. It only rubbed when I had the wheel turned full right while backing up. I'll try to post a few pictures of my truck...

ive got the Xterrains on my stockers right now- they are wearing perfect @ 40 psi front and back, and overall wear is minimal so far 7,000 miles on them-mixed use. they are louder than the toyo mt's (all i can compare to) but not obnoxious by any means
edit to add- Mine are the 3ply sidewall though i'm on 18's

if you are a 4x4, you can fit 35's on the stock wheels with a 2-2.5" spacer
if you are a 4x2 with fx4 wheels, you can fit 33-34" with a 2-2.5" spacer

Yes I have the FX4 wheels on a real FX4 truck. I'm just torn between 325's or 305's. One is wider and one doesn't lose as much perf. Maybe that tuner I want is gonna be more important after all.
