Largest size tire on 2004 F150 4x4 w/ 2.5 leveling kit & stock 18" rims

Recently purchased a 2004 F150 4x4 Lariat and am installing a 2.5" leveling kit on stock 18" rims. Truck currently runs 285/65 R18 w/out leveling kit, but looking to upgrade. I don't want any rubbing. Any help would be appreciated.

If you keep the OEM wheels, you can fit a 35x12.50. As a general rule, on a 4x4 with a leveling kit, you can run 35's with the OEM wheels or 33's with aftermarket wheels.

Both the tire shop and the people installing the leveling kit said that anything over 12 would rub. Is this true or not. Thanks. Also, what tires are available as 35x12.5 R18.

I dont know for sure off the top of my head......but check BF Goodrich, Nitto, Toyo, and Mickey Thompson, I think they all have a tire in that size in either a mud tire or an all-terrain tire.

examples, MT Baja ATZ and MTZ, BFG AT KO, BFG MT KM, Nitto Terra Grappler, Toyo Open Country AT or MT....
