would you bother with the recalibration on a 1 inch tire difference?

Just wondering if it is a big deal to go up from stock 30.1 inches to 31.2 or even 31.9? I am am going from 17" stock to 20 wheels and don't want too much of a low profile look but don't want to mess up my miles or speedo if I don't have to.

with that size of a tire change- if you want it fixed and you dont have a tuner such as the XC2 or Edge, the dealership can update your pcm to refelct the new size for about $30- all you need to tell them is the new R/M for the tire (rev per mile) good luck,
J

The positive aspect of not calibrating it is that you'll end up with fewer miles on the odometer due to having the larger tires. Granted it will take quite a while for it to add up to anything significant....

Thanks for the info and advice guys, what about what I've read about shifting times in the transmission? Is that going to be an issue?

No, not with that small of a difference in tire height.
