Good snow/offroad tire to fit Lightning Rims..

Hey all,
I was just wondering if there was any tire out there that would be okay in the snow that would fit the wide stock L rims? Mabey an off road tire with larger biting edges would work?
I have a set of extra L rims that Id like to use as winters on my XLT but I dnt know of I tire that would fit as there usually isnt a "snow/ice" tire that is that wide.

Thanks for the suggestions
Marc

Just about every major tire manufacturer makes all terrian and mud terrian tires for 18 inch wheels. You could mount anything from a 285/60-18 to a 37x12.50-18 tire on the L wheels. What are you mounting them on?

Im actually hoping to get something in a 55 or even 50 profile tire but 60 will do if thats all thats out there. My truck is a 98 scab flairside 2wd. and it has a very mild 1/2" drop. Im running 20x9.5 rims now with 45 profiles and there is no rubbing.

Thanks...(sorry I should have elaborated more before)

The Nitto Terra Grappler 285/60-18 is the smallest 18 inch all terrian tire I can think of at the time. It's approximately a 32x11.50 tire, so it would be a tight fit with a lowering kit.
